Update: Sadly, two weeks after this picture was taken, we had to put Sam to sleep. For over a year, Sam had a collapsed trachea which meant that breathing became more and more difficult for him. His trachea must have collapsed even further as his condition deteriorated very quickly and we were forced to make a difficult and heart-wrenching decision. I know Sam is in a better place.
Goodbye old friend...
