Great story, deft pacing, grizzled characters make this well worth the read. Hart's writing is natural, not fussy and includes a great sense of humor. Looking forward to more adventures.
  • Crime version of spaghetti western

For me this book lacked realism and reminded me of watching Gunsmoke. Only with a modern version of a criminal plot involving drug dealers. Not a speck of mystery but admittedly some great one liners but some much too corny for me. I love humor in a book but I can honestly say there was only one passage that provided that. After that it proceeded to be corn ball all the way and a completely predictable ending. In fact each page was predictable. Just not a style I enjoy.
